Welcome to One Summer Day—a quiet space where stories heal, imagination blooms, and your truth is gently called back home.

Nora’s Story

A writer, a retired teacher, a mother, a grandmother, and a lifelong seeker of meaning.

Born in Mexico and now rooted in the mountains of Canada, I spent more than two decades teaching children with special needs through Waldorf-inspired education. That work showed me how deeply we all long to be seen, heard, and guided gently back to ourselves.

Over the years, I followed that longing into the world of human development, storytelling, and the healing arts. I began to understand that each of us carries a sacred story—a thread of soul truth that wraps around who we truly are. And when we bring that story to light, we begin to live with clarity, courage, and joy.

The Enchanted Forest and the Hollow Tree, my debut bilingual children’s book, is born from that same love—for wonder, imagination, and the hidden beauty in all of us.

A Story for the Child in All of Us

In The Enchanted Forest and the Hollow Tree, Estelle follows a trail of wonder to discover the magic of curiosity, courage, and self-discovery.

This beautifully illustrated, bilingual story invites readers young and old to believe in the unseen and the power of imagination.

Let it be your reminder: there’s still magic all around you.
